I love exploring how making with nature and the materials we throw away can help us slow down, look closer and reconnect with the world around us.
Based in Freshwater Bay on the Isle of Wight, I develop and deliver workshops inspired by wild plants, recycled materials and objets trouvés—the overlooked treasures we discover through walking, foraging and paying attention.
Before moving to the Island, I led the Fashion Design programme at Winchester School of Art, where I encouraged experimentation, craftsmanship and material exploration. Today, I bring that same spirit of curiosity into workshops that invite people to discover the creative potential of what grows, washes ashore, or can be reimagined with purpose and meaning.
Working across natural dyeing, repair, botanical printing, basketry, cordage, embellishment and the reimagining of existing fabrics, I believe every material has the potential for a second story.
I aim to ensure workshops are fun, welcoming, hands-on, and playful spaces where experimentation is celebrated, curiosity is encouraged, conversation can be had, and perfection is left at the door.
Whether we're weaving with foraged fibres, dyeing cloth with plants, or transforming forgotten textiles into something unexpected, the aim is to leave feeling inspired, connected and excited to keep making.
